What You Are Paying For Charges Explained
Overview
Your monthly costs with Better Comms are made up of several components. This article explains each charge so you know exactly what you are paying for.
Your two invoices
You will receive two separate invoices each month:
- One from your finance provider for your system rental
- One from Better Comms for your network services
This is normal and applies to all customers.
Network service charges
Your Better Comms invoice covers:
- Broadband
- Voice channels (SIP trunks)
- Network Service Rebate (if applicable — first 18 months)
Support fee
- Free for the first 12 months of your agreement
- Charged at a monthly rate after the free period ends
- Covers access to technical support, customer service, and billing support
Opt-out services
The following services are included automatically and can be removed at any time by contacting us:
- Anti-Fraud Protection — charged from month 3
- Call Recording Storage — charged from month 6
- Software Assurance — charged from month 9
- Router Maintenance — charged from month 12
Each of these has a separate article explaining what is covered and how to opt out.
What is not included
Your Better Comms invoice does not cover your system rental. This is billed separately by your finance provider.
