Understanding Your Network Service Rebate

Overview

The Network Service Rebate is a monthly credit applied to your Better Comms invoice for the first 18 months of your agreement. This article explains how it works and what to expect.

What is the Network Service Rebate?

The Network Service Rebate is an amount credited back to you each month to reduce your overall costs during the first 18 months of your contract. It was agreed at the point of sale as part of your package.

How is it applied?

Your rebate and your service charges are offset against each other on your invoice. Rather than two separate transactions, the rebate is deducted from your service charges and you pay the difference.

You will receive a report alongside your invoice that breaks this down clearly so you can see exactly what has been applied.

When does it start?

  • Your rebate begins from your installation date
  • It is applied one month in arrears
  • Your first rebate will appear on your invoice the month after installation
  • Payment is made in the first working week of the following month

How long does it last?

The Network Service Rebate runs for 18 months from your installation date. Once this period ends your invoice will increase to reflect your full service charges.

What happens when the rebate ends?

You will receive communication ahead of your rebate ending. Your invoice will increase at that point to reflect your full monthly costs as agreed in your contract.

If you are unsure what your costs will be once the rebate ends, contact us and we will provide a full breakdown.

I think I am missing a rebate payment

Rebates are normally applied automatically each month. However, a small number of customers are affected by a platform issue where the rebate does not push through automatically.

If you believe you have not received your rebate:

  • Contact our billing team
  • We will manually push the first payment through
  • From that point your rebate will continue automatically each month

When to contact us

Contact our billing team if:

  • You believe your rebate has not been applied
  • You are unsure when your rebate period ends
  • You want a breakdown of your costs once the rebate ends
  • Your invoice looks higher than expected
